It's been an exciting time watching the independent publishing revolution in the past decade. When I started in publishing professionally in 1987, it was a very different world. Now, with what seems like barely more than a click of a button, you can publish a book.
But while technology has made aspects of publishing easier, the path and process are not necessarily any simpler. And when you're an entrepreneur, business person, or executive, publishing a book is not your core business.
